Chattanooga’s geography works against a one-size-fits-all answer. Lookout Valley sits southwest of downtown; Ooltewah and East Brainerd sit on the east side of the metro, on the opposite end from Lookout Valley. That split maps roughly onto where our three communities sit.

Inside Chattanooga city limits, on the southwest side of the metro. Downtown — and Erlanger Baroness — is the closest major hospital campus by general direction, since it sits roughly centrally between Lookout Valley and the east-side systems.

If routine, non-emergency access is the bigger priority, buyers leaning toward Stonebrook or The Retreat at Oakbrook have a genuine advantage in Parkridge East Hospital’s East Brainerd location. Buyers leaning toward Black Creek should factor in that the east-side campuses are, by direction, on the far side of downtown from Lookout Valley.
