The Basic Distinction

SaddleBrooke is the original — built primarily from the late 1980s through the early 2000s. SaddleBrooke Ranch is the adjacent expansion community, developed from 2010 onward on land north of the original. They share the mountain setting and the SaddleBrooke brand but operate as distinct HOA communities with separate amenity campuses and separate governance.

The key practical difference: SaddleBrooke Ranch residents have access to the Ranch amenities and can also purchase access to the original SaddleBrooke country club (SaddleBrooke One and SaddleBrooke Two). Original SaddleBrooke residents do not automatically have Ranch amenity access. Cross-access requires additional membership fees.
