Palo Verde is the southernmost of Sun Lakes' five 55+ villages — and the most recent to be developed. That timing shows in the homes: floor plans run larger, garages accommodate three cars in many cases, and the street layouts feel less compressed than Oakwood or IronOaks to the north. It is the only Sun Lakes village with its own private 18-hole course that is not shared with other villages.
The tradeoff is that Palo Verde residents pay the standard Sun Lakes HOA plus their village dues, and unlike Oakwood or IronOaks they do not have a separate clubhouse identity — Palo Verde uses the larger shared Sun Lakes facilities.
